Fun for the Entire Wedding Party

Bridal Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea was first introduced in the 1840s in England by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, who remedied afternoon “hunger spells” with a delightful snack of tea, bread and butter, and cake. After inviting friends to join her, her afternoon tea became a social event among the English aristocracy.

A Newport tradition like no other, Hotel Viking’s Bridal Afternoon Tea will add glamour and prestige to your wedding festivities. Perfect for a bridal shower or a wedding weekend activity, all your guests will be delighted with this classic social event!
